1. Because it's the only place you can speak English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Yiddish, Portiguese, Urdu, Malagasy(?) and people still understand you.
2. Corner of Prince Arthur and Clark, pretty little park-which-name-I-forgot where I use to walk my sister's dog. (since my landlord forbid us to have one I dogsit when my sis goes on vacations)
3. Excentris et Cinéma du Parc, du genre Cinéma ABC en France, que des Indies, Indies pas chers

5. Rue Roy, Ma rue préférée à Montréal ! Pourquoi? va savoir…sans doute cette sensation de quiétude et de proximité que l'on retrouve en plein centre-ville, unique à Montréal ou juste pour les bâtiments supers eclectiques, le resto basque qui te rappelle St-Jean-de-Luz ou la boucherie et la poissonerie, je sais pas…
6. Café Pi. I admit to take coffee only when I pull all-nighters (this happen everyday) or when I want to look trendy. So here I am learning Farsi and getting my a** kicked at chess.

8. Everything between Laurier and St-Viateur. Each little shop is a mine of treasures for someone as unstylish as me. You can also meet the Men of the Main, it only depends on your taste  in men : Firemen at the Gothic XIXth century castle on Laurier St.? or Geeks at the re-designed XIXth manufacture at Ubisoft?
