I went to the most interesting meetings this week (which is not done yet : we still have ZE rendez-vous of the month on saturday/sunday). Some of you may ask how/when/why did I manage to fit after-hours inside my heavy-weight blogging schedule. I won't be able to bring you the righest answer by the end of this post so let's keep on with the post. Maybe I should prevent the most allergic from further reading : this one is currently written under architectural spell so you might check some other funnier blogger ( less girlie girler as my charming new friend like to say) before hating me for abducting you into my religion. For the few who are willing to learn more about what I've been up to for the last two days allow me to carry on.  I took the personal decision to upgrade my social and professional life to funner levels this year and somewhere I'm proud enough of myself for being able to wear my 7" heels under stormy february nights.

The Tuesday night one started as a Powerpoint Party, an Al Gore alike (why am I so mean these days?). Still I enjoyed the idea of drinking litres of beer while discussing about post-cataclysmic architecture (Liria you should try this!). So they made us enrolling into comitees, felt so pride to become a part of something new, big and humanistic. But nothing will start before weeks maybe months and I guess by this time I'll (sadly) get back to my dilletante (bad) ways. 

Thurdsay night was supposed to take out the Hyde out of me but I should have learned from my precedent night when no Jekyll had shown around the corner. Sipping the Merlot took me more time than the entire event which was quite entertaining and made me realize I wasn't alone in this (unfair) world to have concerns on both green building and architectural intern enslavery. I made my 500 meter walk home (which put me on the top of tonight palmares for "least energy and gaz emmettor of the night") and got back to my comfy virtual life.

What should you learn from both nights?

• My english/architectural/technical/flirting/ speaking is doing great, thank you.
• My hair looks better when clean and ironed
• Karma is a b***
• I look pretty on high heels but they hurt so much
• Women Architects are wayyy hotter than Men Architects
• Architectes de l'Urgence is open for members, so let's get busy !
• I wish a 3-minute green dating shouldn't start with a 2 minute with a "tell me about your resume" question but point directly to " what is the problem with financing green building?"
• If you are interested in LEED and havetime to waste on procrastinating and goolging, you should pass your exams!

  La semaine s'est socialement bien passée en dehors de ma vie virtuelle et elle ne finit tellement pas aujourd'hui vue que demain et après-demain les copains vont nous rejoindre tous en ligne pour Ze meeting! On s'étonne 5 minutes sur le fait que je trouve encore du temps pour me faufiler entre les projets en ligne mais bon je n'ai pas vraiment de formules à donner donc on passera sur l'analyse. Je préviens les allergiques que je suis en pleine période mysticisme architecturale et risque d'attenter à votre foi. Pour en revenir au sujet, j'avoue avoir fait des efforts sociaux et professionnels assez convaincants depuis 2008 pour améliorer un peu les stats et sortir mes supers talons en pleins nuits d'hiver.
