Looking for Zeitgeist

Hasta siempre ….

Zeitgest, ô Zeitgest

Hegel keeps bugging me. I always get a little philosophical after a viewing of a random Marvel movie (I'm a girl so I don't read comics …) or a classic anime (still not keen on reading mangas yet…).

At home we're having this serious argument on "who would be the top strongest-smartest-cutest?" hero. However we totally agree on the fact that real heroes are the toughest (since they can actually die…i know…not very funny…), they seem to be very M.I.A. nowadays. Maybe I'm expecting too much from a sous-commandante Marcos, Mandela or Massoud and daydreaming about Brad Pitt's abilities but the XXIst century first's decade is kicking to its end and … no miracles in view!

I totally join the thoughts about Web 2.0 defining our generation and the power of networking blablablabla…but everywhere blood is still dropping, hunger lingering and voices screaming. Of course the real heroes should be us. People genuinely helping one another. Caring for the weakest. Making herculesque efforts for the tiniest but -life saving- actions. But obscurantism can still conceal the eyes of the wisest and if we don't listen to our heart maybe we won't get our heroism back anytime soon!

Zeitgeist describes the intellectual and cultural climate of an era.

“… et ce climat est le dépassement des intérêts individuels fondateur nécessaire à la création de l’Etat … “Hegel

I thought the sights of Saint Seya and Batman would have the power to put down your seriousness, I guess I got wrong all the way long…My friends are so powerful they even introduce me to other heroes!
William Kamkwamba !!!William Kamkwamba !!!William Kamkwamba !!!Despite his modesty (can somebody pelase tell him his english is wayyyyy better than mine yours or ours!??) HE’S THE MAN. At 19 and living in a farm, he has the ability to kill any Dr Doom (Fantastic Four’s nemesis…)in the entire Universe. He scores a perfect 10/10 !

HJK/ Thnx for entertaining everyone here when I’m out doing what I do best : partying….But I know My BOSS from Mareseille don’t appreciate it ! You should meet him, he’s a fun dude and a very inspired too. ok I gotta get back (and get busy) to W.O.R.K before he excommuniates me from our FOKO….
