And its true we are immune When fact is fiction and tv reality…[U2]

    we MUST talk about :

    - What happened ?
    Read more at The Gazette.com

    -SCHOOLS MASSACRES
    Columbine, Ecole Polytechnique Montreal

    -GUN LAWS

    -AND INTERNET
of course you all get the point, this is NOT about video games, it’s only about us and our LIVES beyond the screen…

Ton malgache pitoyable ??

Hey Jogany never mind. The fact that you’re not around means a lot to us : you must be kept busy with real life which is an amazing thing :P
Getting back to this tragedy, many of my friends remind the 1992 shooting in Polytechnique… I wasn’t here yet at that time. I have thoughts for that 18 years old student :(

Bloody Sunday indeed…horrendous day for the Anastasia DeSouza and all the other victims relatives. If I understand correctly, There is gun registry in Quebec but not in the other provinces of Canada and they are trying to get rid of it …? It seems odd to me, especially now.

    Hi marc,

How you doin’? la forme au maroc? hope everything is ok.
I agree with you but this isn’t only about those video games addicted … I’m talking about us and this parrallel life…Outside there is a beautiful world waiting for ourselves but sometimes people want to think they don’t fit in. Virtuality is only a word not a living. The guy who shot those kids in Montreal on wednesday was crazy that is a fact … he also thought he was SOMEONE on line but a NOBODY in reality….

    that…is killing me..

I agree with you Jaogany: we should love life better. There are and there will always be some souls who feel rejected by society or who have strong unshakable beliefs in something and would do anything to remain true to these beliefs. Cases in point are those suicide bombers, but also others. I remember the December 6, 1989 massacre at Montreal’s École Polytechnique where, according the news reports, the 25-year-old gunman Marc Lépine separated the men from the women and shouted, “I hate feminists!” before shooting, killing fourteen women.

The question is : “Can we, as members of society prevent these events from happening?” Maybe not, but there is no harm in loving each other and appreciate every moment of our lives.

Thank you for welcoming me Jogany. I’ll pop in from time to time, as time actually doesn’t give me the opportunity to write much, reason why I haven’t got my own blog (yet?). Anyway, cheers, life has to go on!!

    Seront lointaines.
    Le monde sent bien venir
    Ce cri de l’avenir,
    Les coeurs sont en éveil
    Pour ce nouveau soleil.
    La flamme est en chemin,
    Courant de main en main;
    Le mal, devant le bien,
    Reculera demain.
Les hommes bientôt n’auront plus de peur,
    Et quand viendra ce jour,
    Ce sera l’amour pour toujours.”

    hey guyz,

Qc’s gvt wanted to make some huge changes to the registry this Fall…I guess it’s f*** up. Those mighty ones still think it’s too expensive to maintain the program the way it is today (don’t even want to dig …it’s so ridiculous) Besides, some voices want to make us think it’s politically too early to debate about this subject…I mean..what’s the rush anywayz? … Harper was elected because he promised to get rid of it…

Yes Lilia, you ARE strong and faithful, keep this spirit and don’t forget to share it with us! Actually I was out of town …you can’t believe how worried I was not knowing which school it was exactly…sorry for the absence, I’m waiting for better days and I don’t have much time to read all your guyz blogs the way it deserves to be!

I’m not really used to this atmosphere of violence. There is something disturbing with the way we agree to live in such conditions. I know 2001 has something to do with this (in Occident) but still…Don’t you guyz think we are bending under some artificial pressures? For instance…the killer was a freak who kept claiming murder and blood everywhere…And we are supposed to be ok with it because it touches his freedom.

I’m not talking about anarchy nor dictature, maybe I want us to be more spontaneous and upright with ourselves and learn to…love…life better? or maybe to speak up when integrity is threaten?
